RCIA:

NEW-INTAKE  for “ADULT ENQUIRY TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH” 

• ​The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a program of induction into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  But, more than that, it is a faith journey designed to meet our fundamental spiritual needs as God’s children and help us identify with and become a part of a faith community.   
• If you know of friends who are interested in making enquiry into the Catholic Faith and deepening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ; if you are seeking to learn about Catholicism as the result of an interfaith marriage or other relationship; have not fully completed the sacraments of initiation; or simply wonder what the journey entails, please register by calling at the Parish office (05 5458220), or via e-registration by clicking here.
  
• The sessions will be held in English, Mandarin & Tamil. 
  
• Be a disciple to bring others to know the love of Jesus and His teachings.

ST. JOSEPH:

YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH, 2020-2021

• The Year of St. Joseph: December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2021. This celebration is dedicated to St. Joseph, husband of Mary and earthly father of Jesus Christ.

​THANKSGIVING MASS:

• Rev.Fr. Charles Anthony Prabhu, C.Ss.R., will celebrate his first Thanksgiving Mass in OMPH church on Sat 1 Feb (E) & Sun 2 Feb (T) 2025.
  
• The parish wish him all the best in his ministry. ​

• Mass on Sat 1 Feb (5.45pm) & Sun 2 Feb (8.00am) 2025.
  
• All are welcome to join in prayer for our priest and religious on this Feast of Presentation of Our Lord.
  
• On this day candles will be blessed for your personal & home use. Please leave your candles (mark with your name) on the table provided near St. Joseph shrine.

PASTORAL STATEMENT FOR DISPENSATION FROM FASTING (during Chinese New Year 2025):

• The Catholic Bishops Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, in consultation with the Episcopal Regional Liturgy Commission of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei offer the following guidance: (1) That the Fridays of January 31 2025 & February 7 2025, dispensation is given from abstinence. (2) That the faithful substitute these days with other forms of penance, especially works of charity and exercises of piety during this Year of Jubilee.
