RCIA:

NEW-INTAKE  for “ADULT ENQUIRY TO THE CATHOLIC FAITH” 

• ​The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a program of induction into the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.  But, more than that, it is a faith journey designed to meet our fundamental spiritual needs as God’s children and help us identify with and become a part of a faith community.   
• If you know of friends who are interested in making enquiry into the Catholic Faith and deepening your personal relationship with Jesus Christ; if you are seeking to learn about Catholicism as the result of an interfaith marriage or other relationship; have not fully completed the sacraments of initiation; or simply wonder what the journey entails, please register by calling at the Parish office (05 5458220), or via e-registration by clicking here.
  
• The sessions will be held in English, Mandarin & Tamil. 
  
• Be a disciple to bring others to know the love of Jesus and His teachings.

• Program will start in July. 1st Preliminary meeting: All who have registered for RCIA, please be present on 16 July, 2026 at 6.30pm in the parish hall. 
  

ST. JOSEPH:

YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH, 2020-2021

• The Year of St. Joseph: December 8, 2020, to December 8, 2021. This celebration is dedicated to St. Joseph, husband of Mary and earthly father of Jesus Christ.
  
• ​Do visit the Year of St. Joseph webpage to continue your reflections on St. Joseph - patron and protector of the Catholic Church, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death.​

FEASTDAY DONATION

• We appeal to your generosity to help us to defray the cost of our feastday celebrations.
  
• You can submit your donation envelope (pink envelope) to the parish office or insert it at the Novena Shrine metallic box.

9-Nights of Preached Novena (E)

• Started on Fri 19 June, 2026 at 7.40pm with Novena devotion followed by Mass at 8pm.
  
• There will be no 7am Mass during the weekdays of the Preached Novena mass.
  

TRIDUUM PREACHED NOVENA MASS

• Mandarin-speaking community on Sun 21 till Tue 23 June at 8.00pm (parish hall);
  
• Tamil-speaking community on Wed 24 till Fri 26 June at 7.30pm Novena followed by Mass at 8.00pm (parish hall).
  

CONSECRATION OF FAMILIES

• To consecrate your family to our Mother Mary’s care, please submit your list of names for consecration by 25 June, 2026.
  
• You can hand in this list at the parish office or put it in the Novena Shrine metallic box. Please state the total number of FAMILIES.
  

ANOINTING FOR THE SICK & ELDERLY

• (date) Sat 27 June, 2026 Novena Devotion at 9.00am (time), 9.45 a.m Anointing of the sick. (venue) OMPH church, Ipoh.
  
• All who are sick are invited to come for the anointing.
